Sustainability

Where the Dorset coast becomes your ideal wellness retreat.

Striving to reduce our footprint on a coastline worth protecting.

A best kept secret where the coast does the work. On the Dorset coast, a quietly held secret where wellness is shaped by sea air, space, and simplicity. This is a deliberate destination, defined by its setting rather than statement. Rooms open to coastal views, the rhythm slows, and everything is designed for ease. From considered in-room details to low-impact touches throughout the hotel, your stay feels naturally restorative. Book your time here as an invitation to pause, not a transaction.

Wild England Hotel Toiletries

We use Wild – organic, biodegradable toiletries designed in Dorset. No parabens, no SLS, no unnecessary packaging. Reusable glass bottles. Traceable ingredients. A considered choice for a wellness retreat on the Jurassic Coast.

Wild is a thoughtful collection of ethically sourced toiletries for hotels and homes, designed with a low-impact, zero-waste approach.

Made in Dorset, it uses naturally derived ingredients and essential oils, blended to be gentle, effective, and responsibly made.

No parabens. No SLS. No excess. Just simple, well-made essentials.

Built around responsible sourcing and reduced waste, Wild uses reusable glass bottles and low-impact packaging designed to last beyond a single stay.

A quieter kind of luxury, shaped by care and restraint.

Cru Kafe

CRU Kafe thoughtfully designs each of their certified organic coffee capsules to deliver exceptional flavour with minimal impact on the environment.

Carefully sourced and responsibly made, each capsule reflects a commitment to quality and sustainability in equal measure.

We hope their coffee encourages you to slow down, enjoy the quiet moments, and share something simple and good with the people you’re with.

In Room Water Bottles

Petite Hotels has replaced in-room plastic water bottles with reusable glass bottles.

Cleaned daily and filled with filtered water, they offer a simpler, lower-impact alternative for your stay.

Bottles can also be purchased for £4 – please speak to a member of the team.

Paper Straws

Plastic has been removed throughout the group and replaced with more considered, lower-impact alternatives wherever possible.

It’s part of an ongoing effort to reduce unnecessary waste, simplify operations, and make more responsible choices across every stay.

Nespresso

Petite Hotels is enrolled in the Nespresso Commercial recycling program, ensuring all used capsules are collected and recycled through Nespresso’s official system.

It’s a simple, closed-loop approach designed to reduce waste and support more responsible use of resources across the group.

Food Wastage

Our menus have been intentionally shortened to reduce complexity and minimise food waste. Each dish is chosen with care, designed to make better use of seasonal ingredients and ensure less is discarded in the process.

Local Suppliers

We work closely with a range of local suppliers to keep produce as fresh and seasonal as possible, while also reducing food miles. All cooking oil is collected and recycled, supporting a more responsible approach behind the scenes as well as on the plate.

Recycle

We recycle glass, paper, cardboard, and plastic, helping to reduce the amount of waste that can end up in the natural environment and, ultimately, our oceans. It’s a simple, consistent effort to keep materials in circulation and lessen our impact on the coastline we’re part of.
