The Jurassic Coast. Right at the door.

The wild bit starts here.

The Lodge sits on the South West Coast Path – 630 miles of coastline, and some of the finest of it right here. Lulworth Cove, Durdle Door, Mupe Bay. Ancient cliffs, wild sea swims, fossil beaches, big skies.

Whether you’re after a long day’s hike or an afternoon on the coast, there’s no shortage of reasons to get out there.

We’ll point you in the right direction.

Our favourite Lulworth Cove walks

West Lulworth Circular

Big views over Dorset farmland and high above Lulworth Cove. A proper Lulworth Cove walk with a proper reward at the end.

Lulworth & White Nothe Coastal Tour

High paths walked since the Stone Age. Chalk stacks, sea arches, the full sweep of the Jurassic coast below. One of the best things to do near Durdle Door – the kind of walk that reminds you where you are.

Tyneham Village & Flower's Barrow

Up from the ghost village of Tyneham to the Iron Age hillfort at Flowers Barrow. Portland to Poole Harbour on a clear day. Worth every step and one of those Jurassic Coast days that stays with you forever.

Things to do near Lulworth Cove. More than you'd think.

Walking, swimming, kayaking, fishing, boat trips, fossil hunting, birdwatching, golf, horse riding – there’s more to do here than most people manage in a week.

If you want to arrange anything before you arrive, give us a call on 01929 400252 and we’ll sort it.
